The babies are life-sized, realistic babies that I use to teach baby care.

In this one, I tried to make a heart out of fabric behind the babies’ heads. It looks like a big bow, but that’s cute too.

This one is very Lola. It’s her bunny, my vintage baby carriage, plus lots of pink, purple and blue pastel.

This one might be my personal favorite.

The sun was shining in from the top loft windows.  I couldn’t resist.

Bambu does all her own styling and concept planning. She makes her accessories, does her own makeup & hair, and configures all the parts.

She’s also one of the most creative  and sweetest young women I’ve ever worked with. She’s insane – in a good way!

She’s never predictable, always so full of life!  One time she even brought her pet tarantula which she carries in a Hello Kitty box!!  I just about had a heart attack!!

In a Hello Kitty box?  Like it’s cute, hehehe!  It’s not cute, it’s terrifying.  She actually loves that fuzzy thing and thinks it’s adorable!

She’s absolutely, positively, unequivocally a creative genius!!!  There’s no one else like her on the planet.  It’s my favorite new photo effect style.  I’m in love with the surrealness of the look.

I also happen to be in love with the photographer that I was photographing.  :-)

First he prepared Nick’s hair with a good combing.

 Rambo was exceptionally thorough for a dog hairdresser.

He kept checking to see if he had everything even.

He worked on the left side while little Bambi (the fascinated chihuahua with Tolga) looked on.

Then Rambo saw something uneven so he worked more on the right side.

When he didn’t have a section of the hair style quite right, he just kept at it until it looked precisely the way he wanted.

 A little more down here towards the back.

And then of course, he finished up Nick’s new the hairstyle with a little more fullness at the crown of the head.
