This is a recipe I have made for my children countless times, so I decided to make a batch to send
to Emerson on his mission. Boy do I miss my son. Maybe these will remind him a little bit of home..
1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. oats
Heat the milk, sugar, vanilla and butter in a pan until it boils, then stir for 1 minute.
Add the peanut butter, stir until melted, then remove from heat.
Immediately add oats and mix well. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper & let cool.
